With their arrival back in Edenei, Adair, Varda and Zarek began to get curious, straying from the neutral lands to the Apocalypse's territory, as if something was beckoning them. Yes, something was doing exactly that, the spirit of Asiri, and she lead them to her tomb, giving them instructions through dreams. These instructions told of how to break the curse (Adair, Varda and Zarek needed to spill a drop of blood over the tomb), which would return Edenei back to its previous state, retrieve the Deities' memories, and give the population the ability to shift forms at their own, free will.
One night, something terrible happened. Possibly through traveling or other, mysterious causes, Varda perished on the journey, leaving Adair and Zarek stumped as what would happen. Advised by Asiri's spirit, they turned to Dracoris; their only hope left of breaking the curse. He agreed to give the blood in Varda's place, but only if the Deities' swore in an unbreakable vow not to kill, or banish him, or his band for eternity and forever hold their peace. An agreement made, each Deity donated a drop of their own blood to the cold rock of Asiri's tomb, chanting the phrase "Ego quero vos is nox noctis tollo is terra's vomica" to snap the final cords that the curse had strung. However, it had been around for so long, that the wolves did not revert directly back to their true forms, but instead gained the ability to simply shift between two (wolf and human), simplifying, yet complicating things at the same time. With the Kingdoms rebuilt with the help of the Deities, Edenei seems to be flourishing again. Unfortunately, something is stirring within the darkened corners of the world of Edenei. Two beings, long thought gone have been making random appearances, causing a buzz of talk among the wolves of Edenei. None know if they still posses their power, but Dracoris has perked up at the opportunity to fulfill his still standing, power hungry, goal. The Sins have also stirred, feeling something new awake within them as the Sovereigns begin to emerge once again. | ||||||||||
