For a span of fifty years, Edenei was held by the clutch of Arawn Wrathe. Famed for his evil ways, the male cast the lands into a new age of darkness, ruling over all in the throne of his Shadow Kingdom. Bound to his side was past alphess and ruler, Raya Tallan. Their fifty year reign was cut short, however, by the will of fate, as things started changing.

The change began without notice, some say because Edenei's mysterious 'balance' had become disturbed, and, with it, world-wide natural disasters started happening on a frequent scale. This is what caused a new ray of hope to shine forth from neighboring region, Siva Arar. Home of Deities and Sovereigns alike, a band of 'chosen ones' were sent in aide of Edenei. However, only two made the perilous journey. None know what happened to the rest, but some say they still linger out there, changed, or not. Though these two, sole saviors were all that was needed. Together, Arcaltris Seer and his apprentice Lin Keano were enough to change the fate of the lands, and with it destroy the darkness that had descended. In their efforts, the Shadow Kingdom was brought down, and in its ruins a new way of life blossomed.

In order to prevent another disturbance to the balance, the sovereign began changing Edenei's culture, introducing new methods of life and regenerating the lands which had become lost due to the Shadow Kingdom's influence; but with it came a sacrifice. If Arcaltris was to keep the balance intact, he and Lin would have to remain in Edenei. With little choice, they could do none other than stay. Over the cruel course of time, and without the magical atmosphere of Siva Arar, his sovereign status began to deteriorate until, finally, he was reverted to the status of a Deity once more.

Since then countless centuries have passed, and the lands of Edenei are in a completely new phase. Though Arcaltris and Lin have remained, not much else has, and now the only reminder of the past are tales. Such tales that have been lost in the tide of time - there are few that remain who can recall them. These few are scattered, drifting or settled, yet reluctant to discuss their painful past.

In the new age, what will come of Edenei? After the famous Shadow Kingdom takeover and then defeat, Edenei has been thrown into a new era of peace, but how long can it last? Under Arcaltris' harsh rule, will harmony still flourish? Are the groups Morohtar and Faeron destined for survival, or will their lack of union by their demise? Will the current Sins, their loyalty now pledged to Arcaltris, run wild under his command? Was Arawn Wrathe truly even defeated? The answers lay written in the stars of an ancient night sky that only a select few remember.
